Legal · PrivacyPrivacy policy How we handle your data.
What personal data Jarsh collects through this website and enquiries, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and your rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Who we are
This policy explains how Jarsh Innovations Private Limited ("Jarsh", "we", "us"), Plot No: 29, Panchavati Colony, Bowenpally, Hyderabad, Telangana 500009, India, handles personal data collected through jarshsafety.com and when you contact us. We are the Data Fiduciary for this data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
Our connected-product platform, JarshConnect (jarshconnect.com), and the mobile apps that go with it are covered by their own terms and privacy notices, given to customers when they are set up.
What we collect
- Enquiries: what you enter in our enquiry form: name, company, job title, email, phone number, city and state, GSTIN (if you give it), the type of enquiry, the products, quantities and timelines you mention, and your message. Depending on the enquiry, also your territory, website and the brands you sell (dealers), a product serial number (service) or a tender reference (tenders), and whether you'd like replies on WhatsApp.
- Context of the enquiry: the page you sent it from, the page that referred you, and campaign tags in the link (UTM parameters), so we know which product you were looking at.
- Calls, emails and WhatsApp: your number or address and what you tell us, when you contact us that way.
- Job applications: the details and CV you send us.
- Website usage: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location (city level) and similar data, collected by Google Analytics through cookies.
- Sakshi, our AI product advisor: the text you type into it. Please don't type personal details there; it only needs a description of the job or hazard.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and send what you asked for: quotations, catalogues, data sheets, demonstrations, dealer details or service.
- To manage our relationship with customers, dealers and partners, including orders, delivery, warranty and support.
- To process job applications.
- To understand which pages and products interest visitors, and improve the website.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We process enquiry data on the basis of your consent, given when you submit the form, and for the legitimate uses the DPDP Act allows (for example, when you voluntarily give us your details for a specific purpose). We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent. You can opt out of any promotional message at any time.
Who we share it with
- Zoho (Bigin CRM): enquiry details are stored in our customer relationship management system.

Our service providers process data on our instructions. Some of them may process it outside India, as the DPDP Act permits, except to any country the Government of India restricts.
Cookies
The website uses cookies that it needs to work, and analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to measure visits. The product advisor and the catalogue reminder use your browser's local storage to remember your quote list and that you dismissed the reminder; this stays on your device. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and customer data for as long as we need it to respond to you and serve you, and then for up to three years after our last interaction, unless the law requires us to keep it longer (for example, invoices and tax records). Job applications are kept for up to one year. After that, we delete the data or make it anonymous.
How we protect it
We use reasonable security safeguards to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse, and we limit access within Jarsh to people who need it for their work. If a personal data breach occurs, we will inform the Data Protection Board of India and affected people as the law requires.
