Press the on/off switch. The green LEDs light and a 1-second alarm confirms it is working.

Check it near a live 220 V socket before deployment.
Position
Mount on the tripod, lock the legs and raise the pole to the height you need, up to 3.1 m.
Set and watch
Set detection distances in the mobile app. The green LED blinks every 5 seconds; a live field triggers a beep and red LED.

Tuned to your site
Out of the box VoltRadar warns at about 1.9 m from 11 kV and 2.5 m from 66 kV. From the app, a supervisor can set the threshold for each voltage level to match the site's safe working distances.
An early warning, not a permit to work. Non-contact detection tells a worker that a live field is near. It does not prove a conductor is dead. Keep isolating, testing with an approved contact tester and earthing before any work on a line, exactly as your safety rules require.

Safe deployment
Setting up
- Position the tripod securely and lock it to prevent tipping
- Confirm the green LEDs and the 1-second start-up alarm
- Test near a live 220 V socket before deployment
- Set detection distances in the app before work starts
During and after
- Use SmartPause™ with care, and make sure it has re-armed after leaving a live zone
- Check battery level and recharge over USB Type-C as needed
- Do not expose to rain or submersion beyond its IP65 rating
