ClearVolt™ · Vehicle-mounted voltage detectorEvery vehicle that works near lines, armed with the ignition.
ClearVolt is fixed to the vehicle and switches on by itself with the ignition. Its sensor watches for live AC fields from 220 V to 132 kV. When the vehicle comes within range, the driver gets a red alert in the cab and a 90 dB beep: about 3 m from a 132 kV line.
Protection that does not depend on someone remembering

For vehicles that work under and around power lines
Utility service vans, crane and boom trucks, and equipment that moves around live infrastructure all share one risk: reaching a live conductor without noticing. ClearVolt is installed once and protects every trip. No switch to forget, nothing to charge.
- Sensor mounted outside the vehicle for maximum detection coverage
- Indicator unit in the driver's field of view in the cab
- Powers on and off with the ignition; 1-second self-test alarm at every start
- Detects live AC from 220 V to 132 kV
- 90 dB beep and red LED in the cab
- Detection distances set from a mobile app
Fit once. It runs itself.
Ignition on
ClearVolt powers up automatically. The green LEDs light and a 1-second self-test alarm sounds.
On watch
The green LED blinks every 5 seconds to confirm continuous monitoring.
Live field
As the vehicle approaches a live conductor, the device beeps and the cabin unit shows a red LED alert.
Ignition off
ClearVolt switches itself off. No manual action at any point.
Designed around the driver
Vehicle-integrated activation
No power switch. It runs off the vehicle's electrical system and follows the ignition.
AutomaticSelf-test at every start
A 1-second alarm on start-up confirms device health. If it is missing, inspect before entering a work area.
1-second checkCabin indicator
The sensor sits outside; the indication cable routes to a cabin unit in the driver's view.
In-cab red alertDual alarm
Red LED on the cabin unit plus a 90 dB beep on every detection.
90 dBApp-configurable
Detection distances, sensitivity and thresholds for each voltage level are set remotely through the companion app.
Mobile appSmartPause™
Silence the alarm in a known hazard zone; it re-arms automatically when the vehicle leaves, or by button press.
Auto re-armUp to 132 kV, with distance to spare
Detection distance by AC voltage
| AC voltage | Distance (m) |
|---|---|
| 220 V | 0.15 |
| 1 kV | 1.1 |
| 6.6 kV | 1.7 |
| 11 kV | 1.9 |
| 33 kV | 2.2 |
| 66 kV | 2.5 |
| 132 kV | 3 |
Values from the ClearVolt TDS. Distances can be adjusted in the companion app.
The widest range in the family
ClearVolt is the only Jarsh detector rated to 132 kV, warning at about 3.0 m. That covers the transmission lines that cross roads, yards and work sites.
An early warning, not a permit to work. Non-contact detection tells a worker that a live field is near. It does not prove a conductor is dead. Keep isolating, testing with an approved contact tester and earthing before any work on a line, exactly as your safety rules require.

Safe operation
Every trip
- Listen for the self-test alarm at start-up; if it is absent, inspect the device and wiring before entering any work area
- Use SmartPause™ with care, and confirm it has re-armed after leaving a known danger zone
Installation and inspection
- Mount the sensor securely and route the indicator cable properly inside the cab
- Use only manufacturer-approved connectors; do not modify vehicle wiring
- Inspect the sensor housing and cable periodically, especially after rough-terrain use
- Do not expose to water jets or immersion beyond its IP65 rating
