What it does, with the numbers
- Continuous load monitoring: Watches the load on the connected block during use.
- Automatic fall detection: Detects a fall event within 1 minute.
- Permanent Not Safe flag: After a fall the red LED stays on and the buzzer sounds, so the block is taken out of service.
- Cumulative shock tracking: Counts accumulated load impacts over time, not just one-off spikes; a blinking red LED means the limit is exceeded.

The connected version is a smart self-retracting block with motion sensing, load verification and a 4G LTE link. When a fall is confirmed it sends an SMS to your safety managers and logs a cloud event with the time, device ID and impact value.

- 4G LTE IoT with a pre-inserted industrial SIM; Bluetooth LE for set-up and health checks
- 10,000 mAh replaceable battery: 5–6 months backup, about 2.5 h to charge

Check it before every shift
Train every user, and have a rescue plan ready before anyone works at height.
- Before each shift: inspect the housing for cracks or damage, check it isn't showing the blue low-battery LED, give it a firm pull to wake the status LED, and confirm green before use.
- If the red LED and buzzer activate, remove the connected block from service at once, inspect or replace it per your site procedure, and have the Smart Block checked by a qualified person before reuse.
- Charge from a 5 V USB Type-C source; don't let it discharge fully, including in storage.
- Store at 15 °C to 30 °C, away from direct sunlight, moisture and high humidity.
- Use it only as part of a complete, certified fall-arrest system.
