Portable Ventilation & Cooling · Heat stress & fresh airBeat the heat. Move the air.

Two ways to protect people from heat and bad air: the ActivCooling™ helmet cools the worker wherever they go, and portable blowers move fresh air into the places they work, including ATEX gas zones.

Cool the person, or change the air

Personal cooling

ActivCooling™ Helmet

  • Goes wherever the worker goes, indoors or out
  • Works in open air, where no fan or AC can reach
  • Cools the head: scalp, eyes and ears
  • Runs on a battery: 2 h built-in or 8 h waist pack

Area ventilation

Industrial blowers + ducts

  • Changes the air in a space for everyone in it
  • Pushes fresh air in, or pulls fumes and heat out
  • Reaches deep into tanks and chambers through a duct
  • ATEX model for Zone 1 and 2 gas areas

Many sites need both: a blower to keep a confined space breathable, and cooling helmets for the crew working in the heat outside it. Neither replaces gas testing, permits, water, rest and shade.

FAQ

Common questions

Still unsure? Ask us: we reply within 24 hours.

Should I buy cooling helmets or a blower?
If the heat is in open air or the worker moves around, a blower can't follow them: use the ActivCooling helmet. If the problem is the air in a space (stale, hot or full of fumes), ventilate it with a blower and duct. Many sites use both.
Which blower do I need in a hazardous area?
Only the ATEX Industrial Blower, with its antistatic duct. It is for Zone 1 and 2 gas areas, group IIB, T4. The CE blower is for non-hazardous areas only.
Is ActivCooling ATEX rated?
No. ActivCooling is a certified safety helmet (IS 2925, EN 397) but is not rated for explosive atmospheres.
How long does ActivCooling run?
Up to 8 hours on the 10,400 mAh external waist battery, or up to 2 hours on the 2,600 mAh internal battery.
What duct lengths are available?
10 m as standard and 15 m on request, for both blowers. Ducts can be coupled for longer runs, though airflow drops with every extra metre and bend.
What warranty do the products carry?
ActivCooling: one year, then one more year of after-sales service. We confirm blower warranty terms with your quotation.
Do you supply in bulk and work with dealers?
Yes. For site kits and volume orders, request a quote. To stock the range, apply to become a dealer.
