Start with the work

Climbing and moving between anchors

A twin-leg energy-absorbing lanyard keeps one leg clipped at all times: JRL-T, JRL-W, JATL or JRL-R.

Fall arrest

Working near electrical installations

JWL-DE (2.0M) has dielectric scaffold hooks to minimise conductivity.

Dielectric

Holding position, both hands free

An adjustable lanyard between the harness side D-rings: JKWP (rope) or JTWPL (webbing).

Positioning

Tools at height

JTL01 tethers a tool of up to 10 kg to your belt or harness.

Use, inspection & care

Inspect it, every time

Train every user, follow the user instructions supplied with each product, and have a rescue plan ready.

  • Inspect before every use: webbing or rope, stitching, the energy-absorber pack and every hook and carabiner gate.
  • Withdraw any lanyard whose energy absorber has deployed, or that has arrested a fall.
  • Check clearance: a fall on an energy-absorbing lanyard needs the lanyard length, the absorber's extension, the worker's height and a safety margin below the anchor.
  • Don't tie a lanyard back on itself or knot it, and keep it away from sharp edges unless it is rated for them.
  • Use work-positioning lanyards only for positioning, together with a fall-arrest system where a fall is possible.
  • Store dry, away from UV, heat and chemicals.

FAQ

Common questions

Can't find what you need? Call +91 8340 84 84 84 or write to info@jarshsafety.com.

Which lanyard should I use with a full body harness for fall arrest?
An energy-absorbing lanyard (EN 355) connected to the dorsal or sternal fall-arrest point. For moving between anchors, choose a twin-leg version so one leg is always connected.
Can I use a work-positioning lanyard for fall arrest?
No. JKWP and JTWPL are for work positioning (EN 358). Use them between the harness side D-rings, with a separate fall-arrest system where a fall is possible.
Is JWL-DE insulated for live work?
It has dielectric scaffold hooks to minimise conductivity near energised installations. The data sheet gives no voltage rating, so follow your electrical safe-work procedures.
What lengths are available?
JRL-T, JRL-W, JRL-W(AS) and JATL come in 1.5, 1.8 and 2.0 m. JRL-DT comes in 1.8 m and 2.0 m. JRL-R is 1.8 m; JWL-DE and JWL-FR are 2.0 m. JKWP and JTWPL adjust up to 2.0 m.
